Week 4-Photography Experiments

This week, we have a different experiments in this lesson. For the asynchronous task 1, I have done my experiment worksheet.

Also, we learned a new word SCAMPER. In this word, I will find some elements to create many of new works. S – Substitute, C – Combine, A – Adapt, M – Modify, P – Put to another use, E – Eliminate, R – Reverse. Here is my scamper experiment.

About this task, I can use different elements to recreate many new image and these works might becomes my inspiration in the future. It also should be a good activity let me do more practice on mark-making skill. However, there are some little bit of challenge for me, for example, I have to think about the idea of using these element and try to create that what I want.

For me, I would go to choose the combination of Instagram and Youtube, the logo looks very matching and interesting, it looks like a camera include a video.

Besides, I have created three images of the experiment photographs in the asynchronous task 2.

After that, I have done another work in the experiment photographs activity.

In my opinion, I've choose Jelle Martens to be my inspiration. I've cut out a lot of triangle patterns from another image and paste to the original photo. In my inspiration, it works on the whole structure, it totally fit in the original photo and shows many layouts to decorate it. But, it is not very perfect as I didn't consider the suitable dimension of these triangle patterns when I started doing this work, so I hope I can pay more attention for considering the size of the materials.

Also, I think I mean the same as what they expressed.

I need to keep improve my photography skill, hopefully I can explore a lot of interesting things and I will try my best to create more works.
