Week 9:Final Model

This week I keep presenting my final design with using different materials to express my pavilion. As for the design I used 3D sketch up to design my actual pavilion.

About the pavilion, I prefer to access 3D sketch up to develop my final design. When I used 3D sketch up, I can accurate the size of different sections of the design to reduce the mistake. I also can find different types of patterns and decide a suitable tone for my pavilion to related to my own final design drawing.

As for my model, I used foam board and cardboard to structure my 3D model. The used of geometric shape was dominated the entire design and present the feature of my pavilion. This pavilion had couples of section for providing a seating places to give people to take rest.

In this image, I created a site plan for my pavilion that I used digi map to decide a suitable place to design my pavilion. I chose recreation ground in New Lenton because the public area was surrounded by many trees and natural environment to providing a suitable area for the university students.
